The forests of the Pacific Northwest are rich in stories, each a unique moment to be reveled in before moving on. It was during one of these moments that Western Red Brewing was born, hidden behind the grind of our wood mill, just outside of Poulsbo, WA. You see, we didn't start out as brew masters, we began as loggers. For generations, our family has been working and nurturing the forests of the Pacific Northwest. And as you might have noticed from our taproom décor and the names of our beers, we're proud of it too. 

You might ask what a life among forests and mills has to do with making beer. Well, in the way patience and understanding are needed to read the wood, we approach brewing much the same way. We think making great beer starts with patient focus on each unique moment of the brewing process. It's what allows us to brew the most approachable and inspired beers in the Pacific Northwest. 

So, when you enjoy a beer from Western Red Brewing, you're helping our family continue a story started over 70 years ago, amongst the Western Red Cedar forests of the Pacific Northwest. Welcome to our family, it's our hope you'll be with us to revel in these moments for years to come.
